A Tmxing Christmas

Cookies in a Jar is the perfect gift for your loved ones whom you don't know what to buy. It will take you less than 5 minutes to create these fancy, yet simple gift that they will be asking for year after year. They do not need a Thermomix to create their delicious cookies once they have been gifted them, as it is as easy as adding butter, egg and mixing through. These can be make gluten free, or with standard flour so do check out the recording of my tips for these adaptions.
There are flavour variations for this recipe so check out the instructions below and watch the video to see how it is done.

Add to a 700-800ml clean glass jar in the following order....

75g Rolled Oats
100g Plain Flour (Gf works well)
1/2 tsb Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
60g Brown Sugar
60g Raw Sugar
50g Dried Cranberries or Sultanas or Choc Bits
50g Pistachios or Macadamia nuts

Download and print the labels below with the instructions for your lucky loved one and stick or tie onto the jar. Add your favourite ribbon and you are ready to gift it away. If you want it to last a little longer, add a square of folded up paper towel to keep the contents dry and ensure the lid is tightly closed. No need to store in the fridge, on the pantry shelf is fine, however use it within a few weeks.

If you prefer, these cookies are delicious as a gift once cooked. Make up the recipes yourself, cook and then cool, before placing into a cling wrap layer, tightly wrapped and gift within a few days. These do need to be eaten fairly quickly as with any home made cookies. These remind me of the classic café style biscuits and are way more yummy when made with love. Happy Thermomixing and enjoy x Lisa
